Who We Are

Sickle Cell Support Services began as Sickle Cell Inner Circle Support Group in 2001. We incorporated into Sickle Cell Support Services in 2005. Since our incorporation, Sickle Cell Support services, with the support of various donors, has been able to get the word out about Sickle Cell through: classes for health care providers at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock and Jefferson Memorial in Pine Bluff. We have conducted several trainings for private organizations such as; PARK, Greenbrier High School and Longley Baptist Church . In 2006 we were able to launch our care packages and distribute them to Arkansas Children Hospital's Sickle Cell clinic and private individuals. This year in 2007 we were able to begin in depth our social services programs offering; financial assistance, prescription assistance, transportation and other services to patients in the state of Arkansas.
